It is natural to experience some pain following wisdom tooth extraction but over the counter painkillers can usually deal effectively this with.
Some natural remedies can also help you :
- Warm Salt Water Rinse : pour about eight ounces of warm water into a glass and stir in two tablespoons of salt until itβs completely dissolved. Rinse with the water for several minutes, or as long as you can stand the salty taste, and then spit it out. Repeat the process every few hours.
- Apply Ice : If the pain results in swelling applying an ice pack to the swollen area will relieve pain and help the inflammation go down.
- Clove : Take some clove oil and put it on a cotton ball. Hold the cotton ball on directly on the tooth and the gums immediately surrounding the tooth. Hold the cotton ball in place until the pain subsides.
- Tea Bags : If your wisdom tooth pain is the result of swollen gums around the infected area, tea bags are an excellent remedy.
