Wisdom Teeth Removal/Surgery

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to come through age, so due to less space they may not emerge fully. This condition is known as impacted wisdom teeth. Symptoms may be swelling around the jaw, halitosis (bad breath), swollen or bleeding gums, headache or jaw ache.

If you are feeling discomfort or pain in wisdom teeth, it may be a matter of concern. So to confirm visit Innovative Smile dental clinic. Our oral surgeon will take X-ray of your mouth and confirm whether removal or extraction of your wisdom teeth is necessary or not.

Innovative Smile don’t recommend to remove wisdom teeth always. Extraction is done only if it is impacted or causing serious problem. Wisdom teeth surgery is always done by our experienced oral surgeon.

Wisdom Teeth Surgery Cost

Wisdom teeth removal cost is Rs 800 – 1500 whereas for much impacted wisdom tooth extraction cost is Rs 1500 – 3500.

Wisdom teeth removal aftercare

Wisdom tooth extraction or impacted wisdom tooth removal, as with any surgery, carries a few potential risks including numbness, stiffness of the jaw and pain. It is natural to experience some pain following wisdom tooth extraction but over the counter painkillers can usually deal effectively this with.

Some natural remedies can also help you :

  • Warm Salt Water Rinse : pour about eight ounces of warm water into a glass and stir in two tablespoons of salt until it’s completely dissolved. Rinse with the water for several minutes, or as long as you can stand the salty taste, and then spit it out. Repeat the process every few hours.
  • Apply Ice : If the pain results in swelling applying an ice pack to the swollen area will relieve pain and help the inflammation go down.
  • Clove : Take some clove oil and put it on a cotton ball. Hold the cotton ball on directly on the tooth and the gums immediately surrounding the tooth. Hold the cotton ball in place until the pain subsides.
  • Tea Bags : If your wisdom tooth pain is the result of swollen gums around the infected area, tea bags are an excellent remedy.
